SKEW SISKIN Singer Collapses After Vienna Show, Band Cancel Live Dates

April 4, 2004

Germany's SKEW SISKIN were forced to cancel the last three shows of their European tour after vocalist Nina C. Alice collapsed after a show in Vienna and was rushed to a hospital. "She has been told to stay in bed for at least one week to give her body the needed rest and fully recover her vocal cords before further damage is done," according to a post on the band's web site. "She sung the Vienna show with terrible pain in her voice and coughed a lot in between sentences, but refused to stop the show. "The show [in] Ulster (Switzerland) will now [take place] on the May 11 and the show [in] Sannois (France) will hopefully happen in September 2004. The booking agency is currently working it out."

In other news, SKEW SISKIN have been confirmed or are about to be confirmed for three festivals this year and 2005. They are as follows:

Jun. 27 - Donau Festival – Vienna, AUT
Jul. 24 - Deep Impact – Munich, GER
2005 - Summer Breeze Festival - GER
